Brzezina - The Birch Wood (1970, Andrzej Wajda/Zygmunt Samosiuk)

Not a photograph, but a very effective scene. I haven't seen the film, but the scene looks like it was done in a very fantastic way.
It's both terrifying and beauitful to look at. Daniel Olbrychski (Left) is doing a similar walk to the Frankenstein' monster, as he's chasing (for reasons I don't know) Emilia Krakowska (right).

This second photograph from Brzezina, is equally beautiful to look at. I'm not sure if the genius behind these is the director Wajda, or the Director of Photography Samosiuk.

But anyway, I would love to see this film, but it doesn't seem possible.
